That's because the budget airline has revealed it is increasing the capacity on its flights from Edinburgh International Airport to Faro over the hot summer months this year.
It is set to increase the capacity by 70 per cent on the route, thanks to four weekly services heading out of Edinburgh to the popular holiday villas hotspot.
Furthermore, Jet2 said it is bringing forward its summer schedule this year, meaning that passengers can choose from the larger number of flights from May 1st until October 31st.
The news will be music to the ears of keen sportspeople north of the border who look forward to their annual golf holidays in Portugal in the spring and summer months.
Jet2 started flying out of Edinburgh back in spring 2006 and it now offers seven European destinations from the airport.
