During the first round Padraig Harrington and Darren Clarke both finished their opening rounds on three under par, three shots adrift of the early leaders.Paul McGinley and Gareth Maybin were also on the same scoreline after 15 and 14 holes respectively. Peter Lawrie and Shane Lowry are level par after one hole.
